From demo to your store
What an agent needs
from a real store
The demo is deliberately simple, and it shows the real constraint: an agent can only recommend what the catalog states clearly. In the demo, a cheaper jacket loses because its supplier provides no delivery estimate, and a softshell cannot be confirmed as waterproof because the catalog has no rating.
Readable product data
Attributes such as waterproof ratings, sizes, materials and compatibility as structured fields, not only in descriptions or PDFs.
Live stock and delivery
Stock by location and delivery estimates by destination, available through an API the agent can query.
Policies and trust
Returns, warranty and shipping terms in a consistent, machine-readable form.
Checkout with confirmation
A cart and checkout the agent can prepare, with the shopper confirming before any payment.
Where the platforms are going
Google introduced the Universal Commerce Protocol in January 2026 as an open standard for agents, businesses and payment providers. OpenAI documents the Agentic Commerce Protocol for sharing products with ChatGPT, currently for approved partners. Both depend on the same clean catalog data.

No. To keep the demo transparent and free to run, fixed rules in your browser interpret the request. A production shopping assistant would use a language model for conversation, grounded in the same kind of structured data and rules shown here.
Are the products real?
No. The catalog, brands, prices and stock are invented for the demo. You can browse the whole catalog below the agent.
Does the agent buy anything?
No. It prepares a structured cart. In a real integration the shopper reviews and confirms before any payment.
